Pre Easter Ride,

The weather was a little cool at the start. Somewhere around 35 degrees. But that didn't stop the riders. A total of 14 riders made it out today. 34.6 miles in a little over 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Andrew, Craig and Colin rode as long as they could. (Andrew rode in jeans)!

Mike, Dylan and Scott did the whole loop.

Thanks to everyone that joined in the fun.

Looking forward to doing it again!

Sunday's Ride

Went for a little spin on Sunday.






It was a little cool, but not to bad about 40 degrees.


















The snow won't be around for long!

We had a small group of 6. Three of the guys road out from Madison. Dylan, Mike W. and Adam. Did the ride and then rode back. So the animals go in from 85 to close to 100 miles for the day. And Mike W.did it on a single speed with a 42X16. Riding up the hills around New Glarus with one gear will make you tough. Not that Mike W. isn't all ready tough.

All in all we had a great time.

I will update the Calendar as soon as we pin down a place for next months ride.

Ride Update

The first Ride location has changed instead of Sun Prairie we will be meeting in New Glarus.
Sorry for all the confusion. With spring teasing us no plans can be set in stone.

This will be an easy 30ish mile ride. Easy on the hills and coffee after. Starting time is 10:30 ready to ride.

1st ride postponed!

Well I'm sure its no surprise that the first ride of the year is postponed! With some luck we will ride on the 16th.

Sorry the idea of the ride is to have some fun and not get killed, with the weather still cold and the roads still iced over I don't think we will have that much fun and the chance of getting Killed is high!

First ride March 9th

The first ride of the year is coming together. Sunday March 9th it is. The ride Leaders for this ride will be Ken and John. It's there turf and they have a route for us to check out. 30 to 35 miles flat with a few rollers. I will try to post the route for all to check out in the next few weeks.
This is a social ride easy paced and a good time, not a training ride! If you want to train this is not the ride for you. For some of us it will be the first ride of the year.
