Spending time on the trainer.

With all the cold and snow that we have been getting. And with the upcoming trip to France in June. I have given into spending time on the bicycle trainer. As dreaded as it is thought to be, and is at times. I have discovered that after a few days on the trainer it's not as bad as I once remembered.
The first day, Monday the 28th it was hard to get motivated to begin. I hadn't ridden for almost a month so, not a good way to start out IMO. But I stuck it out did an hour, I was glad for that hour to end. The next day still not liking the idea, but knowing that I needed to get with the program, I rode for half an hour.
I thought I would do an hour one night and half hour the next and see how things went. And for me anytime on the trainer was "good time". No such thing as "Junk miles" in my book. Its all good!

Anyway to make a long boring story short, I've ridden 12 of the last 15 days. An hour is easier now then it was when I started. I'm doing some intervals, learning more about using my power-tap. And getting in some chamois time.
With a little luck and determination I'll be ready when all this snow melts and the real fun begins.
I hope that everyone is having fun in the snow. If it's skiing, snow shoeing, riding or something else.

Remember Have FUN! :~)
